Park Hayarden – a huge 250 acre park – is located at the northeast corner of Lake Kinneret. It’s right next to one of the main channels of the Jordan River, and contains plentiful water and greenery, interesting wild animals, and ancient archaeological sites. The park offers several options for overnight stays: camping, RV stations, a Bedouin tent area, and group rooms. Groups are invited to call beforehand and reserve overnight stays in the Bedouin tent area (we provide the mattresses), or group rooms (with beds, toilets and showers, air conditioning, a mini-fridge, microwave oven, and a hot water kettle).
Park Hayarden allows families an opportunity to enjoy nature, with moderate temperatures throughout most of the year. There are areas for picnics, various hikes of different levels, fishing channels, playgrounds – all in magnificent natural surroundings. There are toilets, showers, as well as areas for cookouts and bonfires. The park is open all year round, and we’re happy to welcome you at any time!
